A sneak peek of the wonderful new EYFS provision!

We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of the wonderful new EYFS provision that Miss Lacey has been working hard to develop over the Easter holiday. The learning environment has been carefully designed to provide a wide range of opportunities for the children to grow, learn and develop their independence.

Each area of the provision has been thoughtfully planned to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and promote the development of key skills through purposeful play. It has been created in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and reflects the most recent research and recommendations around early years learning—such as the importance of high-quality continuous provision, child-led learning, and environments that build on children’s natural interests.

From spaces that inspire imaginative role play to areas for construction, investigation, and mark making, every aspect has been designed with the children’s development and well-being at its heart.

We’re also really excited that our Year 1 pupils will be able to access the provision. As part of their experience, they’ll be completing silver and gold challenges—carefully planned activities that will stretch and challenge their learning, supporting them in developing key skills and readiness for their journey into Year 2.

We can’t wait to welcome the children back for the summer term and see them flourish in this exciting and enriching new environment!
