in Year 6 children are still expected to be heard to read a minimum of 3 times a week by an adult. Planners should still be signed.

Spelling tests are on a Monday morning, and after the test the next week's spellings are distributed. The Year's spellings are also housed on the class padlet. Spellings that were wrong in the test are added to the child's planner for future practise.

TT Rock stars and time tables still also need to be practised.

A piece of homework will be set on a Friday afternnon and be submitted before the following Thursday. Children receive a class dojo for each piece submitted, This will usually be Maths or English.

Occasionally if a child has struggled with a task in the week, they may be set an extra piece of homework to help consolidate their knowledge.
