In Year 4/5 children are expected to be heard to read a minimum of 3 times a week by an adult. Planners should still be signed.

Spelling tests are on a Friday morning, and after the test the next week's spellings are distributed. The spellings can also be found on our class padlet.  

RM Easimaths, TT Rock stars, time tables and IDL also need to be practised.  All usernames and passwords have been recorded in planners. If you have lost yours, make sure you ask Miss Thomson for your log in details.

A piece of homework will be set on a Friday afternoon and must be submitted before the following Friday. This will usually be Maths or English.

Occasionally if a child has struggled with a task in the week, they may be set an extra piece of homework to help consolidate their knowledge.
