Spellings

In year 3/4 we have weekly spellings tests. These always take place first thing on a Monday morning. Throughout the week, we will practice our spellings in class and daily activites will be set. Please ensure your child practice their spellings at home. Each pupil has a purple spelling book which they should bring to school with them everyday and their spellings for each week can be found inside their planners. 

Reading

Please read with your child as often as you can and make any comments inside their planner. If your child can read and answer questions about their text, this will benefit them hugely in their learning as well as give them the opportunity to explore a wide range of books broadening their imagination. 

Maths

Every pupil has a log in for RMEasi maths as well as TTRockstars. Please ensure your child has access to these fantastic sites at home if at all possible. We expect every child to practice at least 3 times a week at home which will really boost their mathematics knowledge as well as help hugely with their times tables.
